I have recently started on APD and until GED installed a U-drain had to cope with two 6ltr bags of drainage fluid each day that had to be carried to the toilet and disposed of. As my balance is poor I was relying on my wife to do this and it was causing her a lot of back pain
After Ged came and did the installation which could not have been done better I started plugging the APD set into the U-drain and found it easy to use. There are no effluent bags to deal with. Using the supplied cleaner every two days is an easy process and is a small thing to do to keep the U-drain…

The inventor sent me first one in the USA, so I could give it a try over 10 years ago. WOW! It represents the biggest, most positive change in my life since the radical cystectomy. So easy to install, and elimanates the chore of cleaning and smelling tubes and bottles each morning. In addition, GED of U-drain has been efficiently supportive on the rare occasion I’ve needed supplies over the years. I’m so grateful these fellows solved an ugly daily problem for me.
